The evening and night of February 26th brings a lot of uncertainty for the people of Kyiv. At the end of the evening a large explosion took place. It is believed to be a fuel depot on Vasilkov airport. Earlier in the evening the remaining citizens of Kyiv were urged to seek shelter because Russian airstrikes were expected for a second day in a row.
Earlier on the evening fightings took place close to the ministry of defense in Kyiv. In the dark fire was exchanged between fighting parties. This place is close to the centre of Kyiv. The fear of Urban warfare with much civilian casualties is obvious.
